Singapore. Celebrity chefs from award-winning Michelin-starred restaurants are offering a gastronomic journey amid warm holiday festivities at Savour: Christmas Wonderland, a gourmet village located within the Christmas Wonderland yuletide fair at Gardens by the Bay in Singapore on Dec. 1-26.
Visitors can enjoy the taste of chef Emmanuel Stroobant's creations, contemporary Italian food from Monti to the contemporary French-Mediterranean food from Pollen with a starting price of $4.45 per dish.
"Savour at Christmas Wonderland is a good opportunity to promote our Italian restaurant Monti and the casual atmosphere matches the chilled out vibes of our cafes - Wildseed and Bee's Knees," Carolyn Tan, a marketing consultant of 1-Group, said on Monday (04/12).
The casual vibe — which then translated into great conversations at open-air dining spaces, the use of recyclable forks and plastics plates — is instead enriching Stroobant's delicious Dry-Aged roasted beef salad or the curious sweet taste of foie gras magnum from Saint Pierre restaurant, the classic beef wellington or the cinnamon cured salmon from pollen.
The Savour: Christmas Wonderland also offers pulled beef rendang with moroccan rice, a taste of home with an intriguing look, for Indonesian visitors.
For families and the young couples, Tan said, there are more casual favorites to choose from, such as Monti's curly fries and crab arancini, Wildseed's curly fries and seasonal Christmas in a burger and Bee's Knees churros and crispy boxing chicken.
The Jakarta Globe was in Singapore on Dec. 1-3 by the invitation of Blue Sky Events, the organizer who arranged the Christmas Wonderland.
