Jakarta. American popstar Katy Perry is set to return to Indonesia on April 14, 2018, as part of her worldwide Witness: The Tour, an official statement released on Tuesday (28/11) said.

The singer will play at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) in Tangerang, Banten. She will present singles from her latest album "Witness," such as the Platinum-certified "Chained to the Rhythm" featuring Skip Marley, "Bon Appétit" featuring Migos and "Swish Swish," featuring Nicki Minaj.

The Asian leg of Witness: The Tour also includes Hong Kong, Taipei, Singapore and Bangkok.

Perry’s concerts are known for their grandiose, theatrical feel, and the audience should expect something similar from Witness: The Tour. It is said to be "an imaginative trip from outer-space to inner-space, from the planets to the bottom of our oceans."

The North American leg of the tour has been met with positive feedback. Variety called it "an Instagram dream," while the Los Angeles Times praised the "eye-popping props" and Perry’s "strong vocals."

The album itself, released in June 2017, debuted atop of the Billboard 200 chart. It is her third album to make it to the top after "Prism" in 2013 and "Teenage Dream" in 2010.

Tickets for the Indonesian show start from Rp 900,000-5,000,000 ($67-$370) and will go on sale from Dec. 12 on BookMyShow.
