Jakarta. American rock band Paramore will play in Jakarta on Feb. 16 at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition, or ICE BSD, as part of the band's ongoing "Tour Four."
The news of the Jakarta concert was posted previously by Sonic Live Asia, a promoter, on Twitter last week.
Tickets for the event first went on sale on Friday (29/12). Limited early bird tickets range from Rp 850,000 - Rp 1 million ($70) and are available on Book My Show’s website.
February's concert will mark the second time Paramore has played in the country. In August 2011, the band held a concert in Pantai Karnaval Ancol, North Jakarta, and at Garuda Wisnu Kencana, Bali.
"Tour Four" is held to promote Paramore’s latest studio album, "After Laughter." Released in May 2017, the album is distinct from Paramore’s previous material. With singles such as "Hard Times," "Told You So," and "Fake Happy," the album marks the band’s transition from pop punk to 1980s new wave pop.
"After Laughter" also marks the return of Zac Farro as the official drummer of the band after his departure in 2010.
