IndiHome Customers Can Now Do Video Call with HD Image Quality i

PT Telkom Indonesia (Telkom) together with PT. Huawei Tech Investment (Huawei) presents the Video Call services as an additional benefit for IndiHome customers. The video call service allows customers to have face-to-face conversations between TVs with the help of a webcam. This service is the only video call service accessible through a large TV screen with guaranteed HD picture quality and clear sound.

Executive Vice President of Telkom Regional V Suparwiyanto explained, IndiHome is one of Telkom's superior services which has 100% Fiber quality.   Supported by fiber optic network, IndiHome is able to deliver complete services ranging from telephone, the internet and IPTV and Over The Top (OTT) services through streaming video CATCHPLAY, iflix and HOOQ which is now also coupled with video call services so customers can be more comfortable and familiar when Interact with someone.

Through IndiHome Video Call, Telkom seeks to create new experiences to support the digital lifestyle of customers. "Through the soft launch of Video Call from IndiHome, we hope the presence of IndiHome can be felt by the people of East Java, Bali and Nusa Tenggara. IndiHome is a complete and easy-to-use digital solution that provides a variety of entertainment content that is positive so that IndiHome will be the top choice of home needs for home phone service, high-speed internet, and IPTV, "concluded Parwi, during the soft launching of the service in Surabaya , Saturday (4/22).

Telkom Regional V is appointed as the pilot project of this service so that IndiHome customers in East Java, Bali and Nusa Tenggara are the first to enjoy the video call service around mid-May 2017. This service will also be implemented nationally in the near future.

The customer simply activates through the UseeTV menu contained in the IndiHome service. Next, they will be confirmed for the activation process through My IndiHome application.

The IndiHome video call service is designed to provide convenience while in use. Simply press the video menu on the TV, the customer can communicate the video directly. For easy video call calls, an auto-answer feature is also available. In the future, this video call will be accessible from mobile (smartphone) so that people can do group video call.
